Description
Every Serbian bears his own personal Slava within. This identity-establishing event is passed on by fathers to sons from one generation to the next. No matter where one is in the world, this event is celebrated. Four elements are necessary prerequisites: a candle, bread, wheat, and wine, which are handed out by the host at every Slava.
