Sanduq fedha bel amber
Description
The handmade decorative item Sanduq fedha bel amber is made of silver and depicts an olive tree with ambergris olives. It exudes a smell of home and evokes feelings of home in every Tunisian. In Christianity, the olive tree represents lavish prosperity. In the Koran, it is mentioned as being “neither eastern nor western”. I chose this as a cultural heritage because silver, ambergris, and the olive tree symbolise tradition, present, and future in Tunisian culture.
