Painting: “Usbekischer Hof”
Description
I painted the “Usbekischer Hof” as a memory of Uzbekistan. I am reminded of Mannheim´s grids, when I reminisce about Uzbekistani yards. The houses are very small, and the grid structure with walls around it can be found almost everywhere. Uzbeks are a hospitable people and do not close doors. Everyone can come by; they just need to knock and come in.
