The Extended Family
Description
The extended family is of great significance to us. It is very normal for up to four generations to live under one roof not only in Pakistan, but also in Mannheim. When a son gets married, his wife moves in with his family. Similarly, when a daughter gets married, she also moves in with her husband and his family. It is never boring and there is backing and support. In such an extended family, the children get more love and attention and can profit from the knowledge of all family members.
