Slavko Avsenik´s “Oberkrainer Quintet“
Description
The survival of the Slovenes in Slovenia until the middle of the 20th century was largely dependent on small farms. In order to make the hard labour on the farm, such as cutting grass with scythes, more bearable the Slovenes sang and cheered. That is something we enjoy doing even today, every time we meet in Mannheim. Therefore, we would like to present a dance to the music of the world-famous Slavko Avsenik´s “Oberkrainer Quintet” as our heritage.
